ONCF organised on Friday January 17Th 2019, at the Rabat Agdal station, the award ceremony for the winners of the competition launched in December 2019 to celebrate the first anniversary of the high-speed train 'Al Boraq '.
Ten winners were awarded season tickets that would allow them to travel, first class, between Casablanca and Tangier:
- 2 "Al Boraq DIMA" season tickets valid for one year
- 3 "Al Boraq DIMA" season tickets valid for 6 months
- 5 "Al Boraq FIFTY" season tickets valid for one year.
The festive and friendly ceremony was an opportunity to look back at Al Boraq’s first year, during which this icon of sustainable mobility has attracted 3,003,467 customers. More than 8,600 trains were taken over the year, with a daily average of 8,300 passengers who have all enjoyed a new travel experience.
This success was not achieved by accident, but rather the result of the customer benefits offered by Al Boraq: unbeatable journey times, traffic frequency in constant improvement (28 return trips / day), punctuality close to 97%, enhanced comfort, high added value services in-station and on-board, carefully developed subscription packages (Dima Card, Fifty Card), as well as flexible and accessible to all pricing. - Tangier- Casablanca in 2h10: 99 dhs
- Tangier-Rabat in 1h20: 89 dhs
- Tangier-Kenitra in 50 min: 79 dhs
