For the same destination, the price of your ticket may vary depending on :  

  • The class you choose: 1st or 2nd 
  • The date of purchase: the earliest you purchase your ticket, the less it will cost!
  • The time and date of your trip: By avoiding peak time trains, you will benefit from cheaper fare rates 
  • Your discount card
  • The flexibility you want and the conditions for exchanging and refunding your ticket.

Choose the price that best suits you, given these criteria

The Al Boraq price range offers you three rates that vary according to the level of flexibility you choose:

 

  1. A semi-flexible base rate (Semi-Flex)
    • Exchangeable for free once up to three  minutes before the train’s departure (30 minutes later, at the departure station).
    • Up to 50% refundable before train’s departure 
  2. A flexible rate (Flex)
    • Unlimited free exchange up to three minutes before departure (30 minutes later, at the departure station). 
    • Entirely refundable up until the day before the trip, and 20% charge for same-day travel refunds before train’s departure.
  3. A non-flexible Promo rate (No Flex)

    Not exchangeable and non-refundable

2nd class travel

• For Semi-Flex and Flex fares, three price points are offered depending on the type of train you choose :   

  • Low traffic train (Super off-peak)   
  • Standard traffic train (off-peak) 
  • Peak-time train

• Cost base tickets (Semi-Flex) are up for sale up until  the evening before your journey. If purchased on the day, 10% increase is applicable to the cost base rate.  

• Choose a flexible ticket for an extra 20% compared to a semi-flexible ticket, if you wish for more flexibility with tickets exchange and reimbursement.

1st Class Travel

• For the Semi-Flex and Flex rates, three price points are available for the same train depending on the remaining seats. Depending on sales’ progress, ticket prices gradually increase until the train departs. If you purchase your ticket in advance, you will benefit from prices that are more competitive

•Choose a flexible ticket for an extra 20% compared to a semi-flexible ticket if you wish for more flexibility with tickets exchange and reimbursement.

For both classes 

A promotional rate is offered, depending on availability, if the ticket is purchased no later than 7 days before the trip. The ticket at this rate is non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
