On board services

On board personnel

There are nearly 300 ticket men working every day on the national network.

One of their essential duties to ensure the security of people: before departure, the ticket man carries out all the usual verifications, ensures the accessibility and availability of all extinguishers, the condition of doors, etc.

His second duty is to oversee the quality of the trip and on-board services: information and orientation of travelers, adherence to the rules of life on board, assistance in the event of any incidents along the way.

Also, he is liable for conserving ONCF receipts by checking the tickets and regularizing the situation of passengers without tickets.

Comfort equipment

To ensure that you travel in the best of conditions, the train equipment and accessories are being expanded and modernized: air-conditioning is present in all trains, the public address system automatically airs pre-recorded message, the conventional type sanitary facilities have been replaced by an up-to-date retention system.

Along the way, mobile teams from private companies oversee cleanliness of the train throughout the voyage.

Restaurant service

In all trains, restaurant service is ensured by "Restau-Rail" in the form of meals or mobile sale by cart with hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, sweets, etc.

Cell phones

Thanks to coverage of the ONCF network by telecommunications operators, you can receive or make calls over your cell phone almost throughout your entire journey.

Use the platforms located at the ends of each passenger car to make or receive calls without disturbing your neighbors. There are also public telephones on board.

Security equipment

For your security, ONCF scrupulously oversees the presence and operation of all the items of equipment provided: alarms, extinguishers, emergency exits, posting of instructions about on-board security.
