Quality Policy

The quality barometer: it you who have the word

Twice per year, an independent office studies the quality offered by ONCF in all aspects and devises a barometer based on the responses provided by customers.

This tool periodically measuring the level of satisfaction, is based on recurrent questions and constant methodology making it possible to identify the major opinion trends per quality item: reception, information, cleanliness, punctuality, seat availability, restaurant service, etc.

For each item, the value of the measure recorded, determines the level of effort to be provided by ONCF to reach the required level of quality:

Environment

The capacity of the train to use electrical energy makes it the least polluting means of transport. Indeed, the railway causes practically no air pollution as opposed to the road that emits very harmful polluting substances.

Further, studies conducted in Europe on the external cost assessments on the environment and accidents for means of transport in general, have shown that overall they represent 4.6% of European GDP.

Further than this intrinsic aspect of railway traffic, ONCF will be more greatly implicated in environmental protection via various sponsoring and support efforts by associations working in the field..

Hence, by sponsoring for the 5th consecutive year the "Clean Beaches" campaign under the aegis of the Mohammed VI Foundation for environmental protection ONCF – official sponsor for Asilah beach, was awarded two trophies:

  • The "Commitment" trophy by way of recognition of its efforts to ensure the cleanliness of the beach as well as fitting out and the organization of activities,
  • The "Innovation" trophy for its awareness building campaign via the installation in proximity to the beach of the "cinema passenger car" for broadcasting environmental education addressing young holidaymakers.
